Hello and welcome to the search for the 2011 'Face' of Make-Up by Design.

If you are a beautiful girl from Perth, we would like to meet you.

I am currently working hard at creating a series of make-up looks that will feature on the official Make-Up by Design website in 2011. Together with famed Hair Stylist, Melissa Ericksen-Burych, these creations will also feature on the official Shar Salon website

We are searching for local Perth beauties to model for a series of photoshoots showcasing the many make-up looks I have created in conjunction with Hair creations by Melissa.

Could this be your big break?

Legend has it that some of the worlds most beautiful and successful women  were discovered by chance.

Here are a few inspirational stories.........

Cindy Crawford was discovered when a photographer took her picture at her summer job. She was de-tasselling corn on a farm in Illinois.

Marylin Monroe was spotted by a photographer whilst working on a factory assembly line during World War II. He took her picture and the rest is history.

Pamela Anderson was discovered at a British Columbia Lions football game - her image was transmitted onto the stadium wide screen. The football fans noticed her beauty and well....you can guess the rest.

Famed American movie star, who later became the Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly was discovered at a friends photo shoot and ended up on the next cover of Redbook. Hollywood and a royal marriage soon followed.

Let us discover YOU!

This will be your chance to work with Perth's leading Fashion Stylists, Hairstylists and Photographers.

Ten finalists will be chosen for the various photo shoots and only one will be chosen to be the official representative of Make-Up by Design.

Other modelling assignments will soon follow.

A hair and fashion show in February, a Transit photoshoot and the opportunity to be on the official Shar Salon website.

It will be this 'face' that will become the 2011 logo for Make-Up by Design. This logo will appear on the website, the Blog, the fan page,the comp cards, business cards, flyers and all other advertisements.

The models will be invited to attend the launch party of the official website for both Make-up by Design and Shar  (date an location to be disclosed at a later date) and the 'face; will be the special guest of honour.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for gorgeous Perth girls: Brunettes, Blonds, Redheads. Girls of all ages and backgrounds, with a great personality and enviable charisma.

We are looking for girls that possess beauty on the inside that far surpasses their physical appearance.

So how will we know that?

Well we don't -  and that is where your friends come in.

In order to be in the running:

1) Simply upload your (untouched) photograph on the Make-up by Design Fan page.


2) Tell is 25 words or less what YOUR definition of beauty is


3) Get your friends to tell us in 25 words or less why THEY think you are beautiful. Invite them to become Facebook "fans" of Make-up by Design in order to be able to comment on your photograph.
